VINHOS DO BRASIL - EVOLUÇÃO E SENTIDO (4 de 10 PARTES)

(4/10) CONSOLIDAÇÃO INICIAL DO VINHO BRASILEIRO

Rompeu o século XX com as primeiras adegas domiciliares em processo de transição para as adegas industriais, ou seja, funcionando em galpões construídos para tal finalidade. Aqueles que mantinham a adega nos porões das casas coloniais, passaram a isolar essa área só para vinho, eliminando entulhos, galinheiro e criação de porcos.
INSTALAÇÃO TÍPICA DAS PRIMEIRAS ÁDEGAS INDUSTRIAIS.
No ano de 1910, os irmãos Salton montaram uma casa de pasto (pousada e refeições) na parte central de Bento Gonçalves (RS), onde também tinham vinhedos formados. Desta iniciativa surgiu a primeira adega efetiva do vinho brasileiro que teve continuidade sem interrupções até os dias atuais.

Outros empreendedores seguiram os mesmos passos e foram se instalando os Peterlongo, os Dreher, os Rossato, os Mônaco e assim por diante.

Na década de 1920 já se dispunha de muitas vinícolas consolidadas e uma multidão de comerciantes que compravam vinho e produtos dos colonos e os comercilizavam na cidade. No início dessa década, os Salton já comemoravam o sucesso de sua empresa e tiraram uma famosa foto familiar, em dois tempos, a primeira com os vivos, deixando espaço para encaixar os já falecidos.

 

A segunda fotografia teve o preenchimento dos vazios com fotos individuais dos que já haviam morrido.



Foi se estabelecendo um segmento dividido: de um lado os pequenos produtores e comerciantes menores, do outro, os grandes produtores e comerciantes maiores. Os interesses pessoais e uso da influência política pelos grandes atores para tirar vantagens para si desencadeou um embate crítico entre as partes opostas.

Quase no encerrar da década foi formada a primeira cooperativa com a reunião de pequenos produtores e comerciantes, consolidando a natureza bipolar do vinho brasileiro da época.

Broke the twentieth century with the first domestic wineries in transition to the industrial wineries, that is, working in sheds constructed for this purpose. Those who remained in the cellar basements place, began to isolate this area just for wine, removing debris, chicken and pig farming.
 
In 1910, the Salton brothers built a house (meals and lodging) in the central part of Bento Gonçalves (RS), where vineyards were also formed. This initiative was the first effective Brazilian wine cellar which continued uninterrupted until today.
 
Other entrepreneurs followed the same steps and another bodegas were installed, for instance, Peterlongo,  Dreher, Rossato, Monaco, and so one.

In the 1920s there was already consolidated many wineries and a multitude of merchants who bought wine and products of the settlers and marketed them in the town. Earlier in this decade, the Salton already celebrating the success of their business and they took a famous familiar picture in two phases, the first with the living brothers, leaving room to fit the deceased.
 
The second to fill the spaces with individual photographs of those who had died.
 
At that time it started to establish a split vitivinicultural segment: on one hand the small farmers and minor traders, and in the other, the larger producers and greater retailers. The personnal interests and the political influence used by the big players to take advantages sparked a critical clash between opposing parties.
 
FORQUETA - THE FIRST WINE PRODUCERS COOPERATIVE
 
Toward the end of this decade the first cooperative was formed by the meeting of small producers and traders, consolidating the bipolar nature of Brazilian wine of that time.
